Social Media: The Hip and the Hype

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

With social networking sites now accounting for over 20% of all time spent online and 25% of page views in the US, it’s easy to see how a strong social media presence can be a valuable marketing tool.  But with so many options out there, it can be difficult to figure out which sites are a good investment of your limited time and energy.  In addition to Facebook, do you really need to be active on Google+, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, blogging sites, and so on?  Would you like to know which popular new sites you can ignore, which you might be using that you could drop, and which ones you really should focus on?

Find out NEXT Wednesday, August 31st as we speak with digital strategist Nettie Hartsock. Nettie works with individuals and companies from all over the world, helping them create and convey their messages to the online world.

On this call you will learn…

  • Why isn’t my blog getting any readers?
  • Do I really need to use Twitter?
  • How could I be using Facebook to increase traffic to my site?
  • Which site is expected to be the ‘new Facebook’?

Now Available: 6 Steps to Organizing Success

Monday, August 8th, 2011

I recently had the wonderful and unique opportunity to interview the fabulous Elaine Shannon and Kim Eagles of Organizing Connection and learn more about their six-step organizing process. Let me just say they were absolutely fantastic! They were full of great ideas and tips that I have already started using with my clients. As an organizer for six years now, sometimes the tips you hear from other organizers can be things you’ve already heard or use. So, I consider it to be a good class when I can take away at least one thing new. With Elaine and Kim’s call I took away several!
