I recently had the wonderful and unique opportunity to interview the fabulous Elaine Shannon and Kim Eagles of Organizing Connection and learn more about their six-step organizing process. Let me just say they were absolutely fantastic! They were full of great ideas and tips that I have already started using with my clients. As an organizer for six years now, sometimes the tips you hear from other organizers can be things you’ve already heard or use. So, I consider it to be a good class when I can take away at least one thing new. With Elaine and Kim’s call I took away several!

In recent years, there has been a lot of public and scientific interest in Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), and yet many people are still not sure what exactly ADD is or how it affects those who live with it. It is estimated that 3 to 5% of the population displays significant traits of ADD, and yet as many as 1 in 8 people with ADD may be undiagnosed and unsure why their brains seem to work differently than others’.
Clients with ADD may have particular issues getting and staying organized, and face specific challenges in the organizing process. As a Professional Organizer, being able to identify and address these issues can be of great benefit both to you and your clients.
