Once your brand and target audience are aligned, it’s time to get your message out there the right way!
- Consistency is critical. Being consistent in your efforts creates a feeling of reliability. When people know you are reliable, dependable, and dedicated they are more likely to use your services or recommend you to a friend.
- Frequency is also important. Put a plan together for the remainder of the year. What tactics are you going to use to stay connected to your target audience and how often are you going to send them. You don’t have to do something big all the time, it can be an e-mail, making a call, sending a newsletter, or showing up to a networking meeting. The key is to be consistent.
- Use multiple touch points. Remember everyone has different learning styles. Some people may be more responsive to an e-mail while others may be tactile learners and respond more to a postcard. Don’t forget about an old fashioned phone call for people who communicate best verbally. This is very personal way of making a connection with a former client.
